Roman Chuyan founded Performance Analytics Inc. in 2010 to provide research to investment managers to help them outperform passive benchmarks via tactical asset allocation. The research is powered by unique PAR Model™ that Roman developed over a period of ten years. In 2011, we partnered with the other members of the team, and started active operations in 2012.
In prior years, Roman held positions with buy-side firms JH Investments (2008-2010), CypressTree (2006-2008), and John Hancock Life Insurance Company (1998-2006). He focused on fixed income, credit markets, and derivatives; and developed models for derivatives valuation and risk management.
Starting with the integration of John Hancock and Manulife in mid-2000’s, Roman has been helping investment organizations with business transformation, by building out their mid-office functions – Risk Management, Derivatives, and Performance Attribution.
Roman holds a M.Sc. degree in Finance from Bentley University in Waltham, MA. He is a CFA charter holder.
